Common alternatives such as “torch” and “flashlight” can count as the same answer. Accepted spellings are checked for each board.
A question can have more than four sensible answers. A related answer is useful feedback, but only the four selected answers complete this board. The numbers are slots, not popularity rankings.
GOOD TO KNOW
No. This is an independent edition on Chainle, with its own editor-picked questions and answers. It does not reproduce the original daily puzzle or claim to use survey results.
You get three letter hints per board. A hint reveals the next letter of the first eligible unanswered card. Spaces are free; hints never reveal an entire answer. Revealing the board ends the game and does not count as a win.
At midnight UTC. Everyone gets the same scheduled question. An unfinished board stays open across midnight; choose the new daily board when ready. This preview has five daily boards scheduled for October 18–22, 2026.
Practice has five separate boards and avoids repeats until you have played through the set. Practice does not affect your daily streak.
Our boards use a fixed set of answers and reviewed alternatives, not an AI similarity score. Try the usual spelling. A reasonable answer can still be outside the chosen four.
Yes, in this browser when storage is available. They do not sync between devices. Clearing browser data removes them. Daily wins count once; revealed boards and practice do not add to your streak.
