Privacy policy
Understand how data supports the game, and the choices you can make.

About this policy
This page describes data involved in Chainle games, leaderboards, analytics and advertising on chainle.org. External games are operated by their respective providers under their own policies.
Game progress and browser storage
Game progress, language, settings, player identifiers and privacy choices are stored in this browser. Clearing site data may also erase game progress. Some saving features may be unavailable when browser storage is blocked.
Scores and public leaderboards
After a daily challenge, the game sends the date, language, player identifier, nickname and five guesses to the server to recalculate the score. Score records contain the date, language, hashed player identifier, score, nickname and creation time. Nicknames and scores appear publicly. Do not use an email address, phone number or other personal information as a nickname. Clearing browser data does not automatically delete server-side scores.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security. Requests may involve IP addresses, browser and device information. The site uses a country code to select a default language; this is different from requesting precise browser location.
Analytics and experience measurement
The site integrates Google Analytics to understand page visits and game actions, and Microsoft Clarity to understand interactions and session experience. These services may process cookies, device information and page interactions. You can separately save your usage analytics and experience-measurement choices in Privacy settings.
Google advertising and third-party cookies
The site integrates Google AdSense. Third-party advertising providers, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this site or other sites. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to personalize ads. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn how Google uses data from partner sites. Ad delivery depends on ad settings and applicable consent.
Your choices
Use Privacy settings in the footer to change or withdraw optional measurement choices. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent core gameplay. You can also manage personalized advertising preferences through Google Ads Settings.
External games and links
Opening or loading a third-party game may share your IP address and browser information with that provider, which may use its own storage. Chainle preferences do not control third-party websites. Consult the provider’s privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Browser progress generally remains until you clear site data or the game updates its records. Server-side scores are stored separately from browser progress. Clearing browser data or withdrawing analytics preferences does not automatically delete leaderboard records. Data processed by third-party services is also subject to their respective privacy policies and retention settings.
