10 original themed word sets. Daily and practice use the same collection, so themes and words can repeat.

Arrange word magnets into a poem, a tiny story, or a surprising thought. Everyone gets the same daily words in this Chainle edition. What you make with them is up to you.

Free to play. No sign-up. No timer or single right answer.

An independent Fridgle-style game by Chainle, made with original word sets.

What Is Fridgle?

Fridgle is a daily magnet poetry game where you arrange a shared set of word tiles into something you want to say. Instead of guessing a hidden word, you create your own poem from the words available.

Your poem can be funny, quiet, strange, or just one line long. There is no score and no single correct result. The challenge is finding an idea within a limited collection of words.

This independent Chainle edition uses 10 original themed word sets, with daily and practice modes, alternate word forms, and an optional exact-word-count challenge. It is separate from the original game at fridgle.net.

How to Play Fridgle

1. Find your first words

Read through the magnets and tap a word to place it on the fridge. Look for a word that suggests an image, a feeling, or the beginning of a sentence.

2. Shape your poem

Add more magnets, then rearrange them until the words feel right. Drag to reorder on desktop, or select a word and use the Move buttons. Remove selected returns a magnet to the tray.

Some magnets have a ↻ button that switches between available forms of the word. Use New line to separate your lines, and tap a line break to remove it.

3. Try hard mode

Want a little more structure? Turn on Hard mode and use exactly the number of magnets shown.

Each placed magnet counts as one word. Changing its form does not add another word, and line breaks do not count toward the total.

4. Finish and keep your words

Choose Finish poem when you are happy with your arrangement. Your finished poem stays saved in this browser when storage is available.

Copy the text to keep it elsewhere or share it yourself. To make more changes, choose Edit a copy in practice.

A Fridgle Poem Example

A few ordinary words can create a small scene:

This example uses nine magnets from the Quiet music word set. The hum magnet changes to hums, and a line break separates the sound from the space around it.

You could move the same words into a different order or make a shorter poem. The example is one possibility, not an answer to reproduce.

Tips for Your First Fridgle Poem

Start with a picture

Choose a word that gives you something to imagine—a room, a window, a train, or the sea. Build your first line around that image.

Check the alternate forms

A word that does not fit at first might work in another form. Try the ↻ button before deciding a magnet has no place in your poem.

Give line breaks a purpose

Read your words aloud. Put a line break where you want a pause, a change of image, or a little extra emphasis.

Leave some words behind

You do not need to use every magnet. In normal mode, a short phrase is enough. In hard mode, removing a word can help you find a clearer way to reach the target.

Daily Fridgle or Practice Mode?

Daily mode

Come back for a shared daily edition. Everyone playing this Chainle version receives the same word set and hard-mode target for that UTC date.

The edition changes at midnight UTC. If you are still writing when the date changes, your open poem stays in place until you choose to open the new daily set.

Practice mode

Keep writing whenever you want. Try another practice set or make an editable copy of a poem you have already finished.

Practice uses the same 10-set collection as daily mode, so sets may repeat. Your daily poem and latest practice poem are saved separately in this browser.
